Grants and Funding

Community Partnership Grants Program

What is the program about?

The program aims to help build our region by giving community groups a funding source to undertake new or growing initiatives, projects, or events that benefit the Southern Grampians Shire.

In the past funding has gone towards club building repairs, general equipment, furniture, safety gear, promotional signage, environmental protection programs, heritage projects, events, and festivals.

How are applications evaluated?

Grants will be considered for initiatives by eligible community groups that meet the objectives of the Southern Grampians Shire Council Community Partnership Grants Policy.

Applications will be evaluated and assessed against the criteria contained in the Southern Grampians Shire Council Community Partnership Grants Program Guidelines.

The guidelines provide valuable information that will assist you in understanding Council's grant program.
